Get on board the Bluegrass Revolution! Honeywood's debut album, Shadow Grass takes jamgrass to new heights.

Shadow Grass is the debut album from Atlanta's Honeywood bluegrass jam band. A nine-song collection of original music and one killer cover, Shadow Grass finds the band in top form. The band lays down daring improvisations, deep grooves and sweet harmonies on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass and drums. Honeywood blends bluegrass, jam rock, cajun and funk into a unique acoustic sound.

Listen to the first single from Shadow Grass, "Bluegrass Revolution":

Shadow Grass was recorded mostly live over a weekend in February 2017 at Spotlight Sound Studio in Milton, Georgia. The group worked to capture the band's live sound and energy through high-end microphones and equipment. The result is a pristine recording that highlights the natural qualities of the instruments and voices as well as some deeper sonic explorations.

Shadow Grass offers the recorded debut of 8 original songs that have grown from Honeywood's epic live performances. "Band Plays On," "Bluegrass Revolution" and "Festival" written by Jason Koornick celebrate music and life through funky grooves, hot pickin' and dynamic solos. "Laura" and "Two Cents" (Russell Brown) relate tales of love grown wrong, inspired by the dark side of film noir. "What The Funk," and "D Minor Blues" feature killer jams and "Commission Me" flips the country script on its head. "Deep Elem Blues" is the sole cover and the boys dig in deep to this classic tune.

Most of all, Shadow Grass jams Honeywood-style. Check out Honeywood live for a peak musical experience!
